Fly Free B 150x150

Part of an installation - Digital print - on canvas 220x200cm Time as part of one’s origins Time brings migration I want to create a utopia Every culture has its own vision on utopia, which is both enriching and changing our perception and understanding of the world we live in. The drawings are an abstract form of my biography and ofmy personality. A snapshot of graves in a distant past, where borders fade…

One’s origins determine one’s concept of time. Migration through time defines the work of Joke Neyrinck, digital artist and member of artcollective krakk Joke (Belgian/Polish) created especially for the festival her own Utopia: a digital, imaginary ‘doodle’-world. Her drawings are an abstract form of her biography, a snapshot of her continuing search where all borders fade, both past and future… a time ‘refound’. She digs into her subconscious by letting her imagination run free.
